Happy May my friends!
Steve and I escaped the hustle, bustle and concrete of this big city this past weekend and treated ourselves to a much needed, relaxing long weekend at my parents'.
While the weather wasn't perfect, we were able to get outside, plant some trees, take a walk along the beach and catch up with some friends and family with some good food and drinks. As an added bonus, my sister was home from boonie British Columbia. I'm currently scheming to keep her hostage in Ontario. Ideas are welcome.
The beach is still pretty drab and too chilly for many birds and tree buds, but it is still one of my favourite places on Earth. I know spring is my favourite season, and it just started, but I can't wait until summer!

I have way too many favorite songs to even leave in a comment :)
