"Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May be raise them." - unknown
I am so lucky to know them, be one and (soon to be) raising THREE.
If you follow us on IG (@toandfro21), you will know by now that we recently found out the gender of babe #3, due mid-June. Thanks to some delicious cupcakes filled with coloured icing, made by our neighbour (check Kristin out - @sweetnolato), and through the power of our good friend Zoom, we were able to connect with our immediate families and all find out at once that we are adding another GIRL to our crew.
Truth is, we weren't going to find out what we were having. We didn't for our first two, and liked the surprised. However, the girls desperately wanted to know whether it was going to be a little sister or a little brother. And since it's not about us anymore (combined with the fact that they have been super interested in everything that has been going on with my growing bump), we decided to find out.
As we celebrated International Women's Day on this past Monday, March 8, I thought it was only fitting that the girls announce that they're going to have another little sister. The tres amigas, if you will. And what better way to do this then with personalized shirts from our good friends at Cricut?!
Using my Cricut Joy and Easy Press 2 (along with some Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets in a pink and purple tye dye pattern, selected by my oldest), I made these tank tops that say "Big Sister" and "Middle Sister" and baby bodysuit that says "Little Sister". (The baby bodysuit blank used is from Cricut, but the white tank tops we already had around the house.)
I have included the materials and tools we used for this specific Cricut project below. For step-by-step instructions on how to create your own personalized shirts for whatever the occasion may be (or, just for fun), check out this post where we turned my oldest daughter's drawings into personalized family t-shirts.
Materials and Tools Required:
Piece of cardboard
Parchment paper
Scissors
Lint roller

We know raising strong girls is no easy feat. But, we are ready for the challenge. After all, strong woman (and strong men) raise strong girls.
Tell me - did you find out the gender of your children? Or was it a complete surprise? I'd love to hear all about it!
